Wonki Studio makes playful prints for the modern family.
Whether your family is you and your dog, friends, a bunch of kids or other loved ones, I hope that my products will put a smile on your face and some modern sustainable wonki designs to your home.
The family of Wonki Studio is a big multilingual mix of kids, family, friends, animals and colleagues that are scattered all over the world, but in different ways inspire and give energy to Wonki Studio. Without all of them Wonki Studio would never exist. That is also why all communication will have to be in English, so that they can all understand.

Prints, colors, materials and design have always been a big part of my life. That is how my brain is wired and I have always found different outlets for it.
My grandmothers and my mom taught me early on what to look for to find long lasting quality and how to reuse older things. Growing up our home was filled with things created by family. Even my barbies had hand knitted cardigans! With one grandmother being a textile teacher, the other making rugs and my mom sewing and knitting, being around hand made things and taking care of them was a given.
After filling my home with DIY:s, my binders with anatomical drawings from medical school and my drawers with notes and sketches of things I’ve seen and get inspired by I kept wanting to do more. It wasn’t until my body and mind screamed it was time to do something about it and society started appreciating sustainability and the bigger picture that I felt ready to enter the world of design and start Wonki Studio with the help of encouraging people around me.
Along side my creative world I have always strived to be a part of a society where everyone is equal and feel welcome. When I work as a school doctor I get to be a part of that every day. Therefore sustainability and social responsibility will always be just as important as modern playful design at Wonki Studio.
Wonki Studio is about people coming together. I want to create things where color and design can help create a warm and fun place. Where everyone feels at home.
Wonki Studio will always be “we“ even though, so far, I am the only designer and owner. The energy of people working together and boosting each other to do better is what will keep moving Wonki Studio forward. I could never do this without the help of my wonderful kids, family, friends, suppliers and all of you that believe that there is a place for Wonki Studio. Thank you all for being a part of my life.
