Wonki Studio believes in transparency. You should know what the products are made of, who made them and where they come from. That is the wonki way.

Sustainability is hard, but it had to be equally as important as the design if Wonki Studio was going to exist. Wonki Studio wants to give you sustainable products. Hopefully my designs and the materials will make you want to keep it forever, but if you are ready to give it to a new owner I want it to last. The materials, prints, colours and designs are carefully made and picked for that reason.

The wonki family will grow with every partner I decide to work with and I will make sure to tell you all about the great work they do and why I decided to work with them.

The materials of the products is one thing, but if this is going to last we need to keep thinking that the production, transports and materials will have as little impact as possible on generations to come. I know that is what modern families demand. Social responsibility will always be a given part of the products and I will try to keep finding new ways to make an impact in other ways than the wonki prints.

Learning about sustainability is not easy, so getting help from sustainability guru Johanna Nilsson www.slowfashion.nu was important. She is a wonderful help in a tricky business.

Like many other companies that care about sustainability Wonki Studio doesn’t believe in sales that make people buy stuff without thinking. I want you to love the products as much as I do, so that you keep taking care of them and give them a long life.

GLOBAL GOALS

These are the global goals that Wonki Studio tries extra hard to be a part of:

3. Good health: Psysical and mental health. Join my wonki world and have fun! Also let yourself stand still sometimes and be with your loved ones. That is the wonki way.

5. Gender equality: Cis, trans or queer. It shouldn’t matter.

8. Good jobs and economic growth: Wonki Studio wants to co-operate with companies that treat people with respect and give them good working conditions.

10. Reduced inequalities: Social responsibility will always be a priority in my wonki world.

12. Responsible consumption: For me responsible consumption means thinking of long lasting materials , re-design and timeless design. To use as much of what has already used our planet’s resources to be something new and to make as small of an environmental impact as possible.

16. Peace and Justice: Treat others as you want to be treated. It should be as easy as that.

17. Partnerships for the goals: I choose my partners based on my values and if they share my vison of how to treat people and the environment.
